Father Michael Nguyễn Khắc Tước was born on March 19, 1924, in Vạn Đồn, Thụy Anh, Thái Bình province, Vietnam. He completed his earthly mission on January 28, 1993, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA.
Youth and Formation (1924-1949):
In 1935, he entered the Minor Seminary Trung Linh (Tiểu Chủng Viện Trung Linh) in Bùi Chu.
In 1942, he joined the Pontifical Alberto Academy (Giáo Hoàng Học Viện Albertô) in Nam Định, where he studied alongside Father Đinh Tường Huấn.
On February 2, 1949, he founded the Society at the Mỹ Đức Seminary (Chủng viện Mỹ Đức) before being ordained a priest. The first members of the society were Ngọc Minh, Thúy Linh, and Kim Liên from the Movement of Children of the Blessed Sacrament (Nghĩa Binh Thánh Thể) in Thái Bình.
Ministry as a Priest (1950-1957):
On July 2, 1950, he was ordained a priest in Thái Bình.
From 1950 to 1952, he served as an assistant priest in Trung Đồng Parish, Thái Bình.
During 1952-1954, he was in charge of the parish in Cao Mại and Vĩnh Phúc, Thái Bình.
In 1954-1955, he engaged in social welfare activities and relocated from North to South Vietnam, specifically Sài Gòn.
From 1955 to 1957, he served as a professor and deputy director at the Tiểu Chủng Viện Thái Bình (Minor Seminary of Thái Bình) in Đinh Thủy, Phan Rang, Ninh Thuận.
Studies in Switzerland (1957-1967):
In 1957, he went to the Bùi Chu Diocesan Headquarters (Trụ Sở Địa Phận Bùi Chu) in Beau Repaire, France.
From 1957 to 1963, he studied English literature at Fribourg University in Switzerland.
In 1961-1962, he spent a summer in London, England, to improve his English language skills.
In 1963-1964, he met Bishop Nguyễn Khắc Ngữ and several bishops who participated in the Second Vatican Council in Rome, Italy. 🌟
In 1964, with the assistance of Bishop G. Durand, he visited Lisieux, France.
In 1965, he met with Bishop Nguyễn Kim Điền of Huế Diocese, Archbishop Nguyễn Văn Bình of Sài Gòn Archdiocese, and Bishop Simon Hòa Nguyễn Văn Hiền of Đà Lạt Diocese at the Hôtel de la Gare in Switzerland.
In 1966, he was expelled from Switzerland by the Swiss govement and temporarily took refuge in France.
In October 1966, he suffered a heart attack on a train in Freiburg.
In March 1967, he was in Friedischafen.
In November 1967, he organized a fundraising meal.
In December 1967, he returned to Tân Sơn Nhứt airport (Tân Sơn Nhất) in Sài Gòn.
Strengthening and Developing the Society (1968-1975):
From 1968 to 1975, he served as a professor of English literature at Viện Đại Học Đà Lạt (University Institute of Đà Lạt) in Đà Lạt, Vietnam.
On December 8, 1969, Bishop Simon Hòa Nguyễn Văn Hiền temporarily approved the Constitution of the Society of Consecration IC (Tu Hội Tận Hiến IC) in Đà Lạt, Vietnam.
Between 1969 and 1975, he engaged in evangelization, developed vocations, and established foundations in various localities, including Sài Gòn, Cần Thơ, Long Xuyên, Phú Cường, Xuân Lộc, Nha Trang, Buôn Ma Thuột, Phú Bổn, and Đà Nẵng.
On February 22, 1972, the First General Assembly of the Society of the Consecration IC (Đại Hội Tận Hiến IC) was held at the Parish of Minh Giáo in Đà Lạt.
5. In the period of migration to the United States (1975-1993):
On April 25, 1975, he left Vietnam.
On May 8, 1975, he arrived at Fort Chafee.
On August 16, 1975, he left Fort Chafee and moved to New Orleans, where he temporarily resided at 1501 N. Johnson St., New Orleans, LA (1975-1977).
From 1977 to 1980, he stayed with the Holy Spirit Sisters at St. Maurice.
6. In the years 1980-1983, he resided in Versailles.
On August 15, 1983, he established the headquarters of the Sisters of the Incarnatio-Consecratio-Missio (ICM) in San Antonio, Texas.
In 1986, he established the headquarters of the Southern Province of the Sisters of the ICM in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
On August 15, 1989, the headquarters of the Sisters of the ICM moved to Orlando, Florida.
On March 25, 1992, he completed the drafting of the Constitution of the Sisters of the Incarnatio-Consecratio-Missio in Louisiana.
